Emoji has come to stay typing without them sucks😂😂😂!. Haha, yeah with the current trends, Communication through an electronic medium is key. Describing emotions and feelings requires a whole lot of words and sometimes words can’t even explain it well. with the notion of ideograms (thus images describing ideas), it has made our online communication better and very simple. Within this post, we will learn how to use emojis on the computer.
On mobile phones, communication with emojis is just a button click! but what of the windows operating system or in general computers?. How I wish there is an emoji keyboard 🤔, is this be possible. Maybe but as it stands there are no hardware devices like that, maybe am wrong🤩🤩. Am yet to see one.
Method One: Emojis on windows 10
By default, Windows 10 falling creatures have an inbuilt Emojis. and as usual, it is hidden and it is being triggered by these keyboard shortcuts “CTRL + .“. Yea Control Key and the dot or the full stop key on the keyboard triggers emojis on the computer. just as shown below.
As shown above whenever this key combination is clicked it pops up the emoji for use. in order to locate specific emojis without using the mouse you can just continue to type the description of the emoji you want which in turn filters the emojis making it easy to use without removing your hands from the keyboard. As well when done you press escape key too close it.
Method Two: Copy and paste emojis
This method, I personally won’t recommend. But sometimes due to one or two reasons, the first approach won’t be convenient. Here comes another way to access emojis on a computer, but requires internet access. There are many websites which houses emojis and you can copy and paste from.
